WHY CORTEX.OS EXISTS

AI is infrastructure now, not a feature.

Most agencies build the product first and figure out "the AI part" later, if at all. We think that ordering is backwards — so we built a studio around doing both at once.

Two disciplines, one team, from day one

TRADITIONAL APPROACH

AI as an afterthought

Bolting AI onto a finished product almost always shows. It shows up as a chat widget in the corner that doesn't know anything about the rest of the app, or a feature scoped after architecture was locked in.

✦ THE CORTEX APPROACH

Engineered together from day one

Cortex.os exists because that split shouldn't happen. When the same team designs the data model, backend, and AI layer together, intelligence reaches into what the product actually does — not sit beside it.

Working principles

Not values-page filler — these are the actual constraints every build runs under.

01

Fixed scope, fixed price

The offer you get after the scope call is the offer you pay. No hourly surprises, no scope creep billed after the fact.

02

Ship visible progress early

You get a working link days into the build, not a reveal at the end. If something's off, we catch it in week one, not week four.

03

One point of contact

No account manager relaying messages to an engineer you never talk to. You talk to whoever is actually building it.

04

Say no when it's not a fit

If your AI feature doesn't have a real use case yet, we'll say so on the scope call — not after we've billed for discovering it.

Why this stack, specifically

Not the newest tools — the ones that let us move fast without handing you something fragile.

Next.js
Fast to build, fast to load, and the default choice for teams who'll maintain this after us.
Nest.js
A backend structure that stays readable as the product grows — not a pile of routes that only we understand.
React Native
One codebase for mobile where it makes sense, instead of doubling the build for a second platform.
Claude / OpenAI APIs
Production-grade models, not a hobby wrapper — chosen per project based on cost, latency, and the actual task.

Who's building this

The Architect
THE ARCHITECT
Founder · Cortex.os

7+ years building software — starting as an intern, then full-time as an engineer — before starting Cortex.os. Most of that time has been spent deep in AI integration: wiring LLMs, agents, and retrieval systems into real products, not demo code.

Cortex.os exists because of a pattern I kept seeing at agencies — AI treated as an afterthought, a chatbot bolted onto a finished product instead of built into it. Cortex.os is the studio I wished existed: engineering and AI integration handled by the same team, on the same build, from day one.
